Since 2017, Bremont has been timing the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta—a rowing event held annually since 1839 on the River Thames in the town of Henley-on-Thames, England. The brand has handcrafted the mechanical stopwatches used by race umpires and marked the collaboration with exclusive, rowing-inspired, limited-edition HRR watches for competitors, winners, and members of the Stewards' Enclosure.

This year, the British watchmaker has introduced the Terra Nova Henley Royal Regatta Chronograph Limited Edition, a new model honouring and celebrating its partnership with the Henley Royal Regatta. Limited to 150 pieces, the chronograph’s design is inspired by the regatta's official colours and long-standing sporting traditions.

The new 42.5 mm watch features a two-piece case crafted from satin-finished and polished 904L stainless steel, chosen for its corrosion resistance and durability. Measuring 48.8 mm lug-to-lug and 14.8 mm thick, the watch is topped by a bidirectional steel bezel fitted with a blue ceramic insert that incorporates a dedicated stroke counter. Designed specifically for rowing, the stroke counter enables the wearer to measure stroke rate and cadence during racing or training using the chronograph function.

The dial combines a white lacquered base with navy-blue accents that reflect the colours of the Henley Royal Regatta. The crossed oars positioned beneath 12 o'clock take cues from the rowing theme, while the HRR logo appears above the date window at 6 o'clock. For the first time on a Bremont Henley Royal Regatta edition, the words "Henley-on-Thames" are printed on the dial as a tribute to the historic rowing town and the location of Bremont's 35,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, The Wing.

Legibility remains a key focus throughout the design. Navy-blue applied numerals, indexes, and a detailed minute track are paired with three-dimensional Super-LumiNova blocks that emit a blue-green glow in low-light conditions. The matte-blue chronograph sub-dials contrast with gloss-white hands and markings, while the polished rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova, which glows green in the dark. The central chronograph seconds hand is finished in a distinctive mint-green colour inspired by the iconic Henley Royal Regatta deckchairs that line the Stewards' Enclosure along the riverbank. A domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment protects the dial.

Housed beneath the closed caseback, Bremont's automatic BC77 movement powers the watch. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and features a Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring, and Nivaflex mainspring, while offering a power reserve of 62 hours. It drives the central hours and minutes, a central chronograph seconds hand, a small-seconds display at 9 o'clock, a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock, and a date display at 6 o'clock.

Buyers can choose between a matching 904L stainless-steel bracelet, priced at approximately INR 7,10,000, or a blue embossed leather strap with white stitching and a decorated pin buckle, priced at approximately INR 6,75,000. The watch offers water resistance to 100 metres.
