Baume & Mercier has introduced a new interpretation of its distinctive rectangular watch – the Hampton XS has been miniaturised to 28 mm x 17.75 mm – from roughly 34 mm x 20 mm for the small ladies’ model – while preserving the Art Deco character that has defined the Hampton line since its creation in 1994. The collection has been renowned for its sculpted, faceted dial, refined geometry, and a recognisable rectangular silhouette. The Hampton XS brings a fresh perspective with a smaller, more elegant expression.

The new Hampton XS is thin at 6.3 mm and has been introduced in four interpretations, including two stainless steel models, a 4N PVD model, and a diamond-set version. The polished stainless-steel cases are protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystals and feature cone-shaped crowns set with black agate, polished casebacks that can be engraved, and water resistance of 50 metres. Its newly designed dial is faceted on all four sides, while the absence of traditional indexes preserves the purity of its architectural character. Another defining element is the new diamond-shaped metal bracelet with a repeating geometric motif that makes it more flexible and comfortable on the wrist. All watches are powered by the quartz Ronda 751 movement, providing hours and minutes and an autonomy of approximately five years.

The Hampton M0A10859 presents the everyday interpretation, pairing its polished stainless-steel case with a stepped warm-silver sunray satin-finished dial, 4N gilded fan-shaped sword hands and the brand’s 4N gilded Phi logo at 12 o’clock, along with a grey taupe calfskin strap and polished stainless-steel pin buckle. Priced at INR 1,19,800.

The M0A10860 offers the signature bracelet version, retaining the warm-silver dial and gilded hands and logo while adding an interchangeable polished and satin-finished diamond-shaped steel bracelet with a triple-folding clasp. It is priced at INR 1,37,200.

The M0A10861 introduces a warmer expression through a polished 4N PVD stainless-steel case, matching 4N PVD crown and pin buckle, a warm-silver sunray dial, and ruthenium fan-shaped sword hands and Phi logo, completed by a black calfskin strap. This one is marked at a price of INR 1,28,500.

The most evening-oriented M0A10862 combines the polished stainless-steel case with 28 brilliant-cut Top Wesselton VS diamonds totalling 0.22 carats, a stepped black sunray satin-finished dial, rhodium fan-shaped sword hands and rhodium-plated Phi logo, and the interchangeable diamond-shaped steel bracelet. This is available for INR 2,81,700.
