Zenith has expanded its Chronomaster Sport collection with a new meteorite dial edition, a watch that was once available only in Japan and is now being released worldwide. First launched in 2021, the Chronomaster Sport has quickly become a cornerstone of the brand, offering a versatile sports chronograph that balances modern design with the heritage of Zenith’s El Primero movements.
The new Chronomaster Sport Meteorite retains the 41 mm stainless steel case, measuring 13.6 mm in thickness and 47 mm lug-to-lug. The case is finished with brushed and polished surfaces, while a fixed black ceramic bezel engraved with a 1/10th-of-a-second scale frames the dial. It is fitted with anti-reflective sapphire crystals on both sides, while classic pump pushers complete the profile. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 metres.
The highlight of this model is its meteorite dial, showcasing the natural Widmanstätten pattern formed through the slow cooling of molten iron in space. In keeping with the Chronomaster’s tri-colour tradition, the three sub-dials are executed in a gradient of white, silver, and grey, creating a monochrome palette that complements the textured dial surface. The rhodium-plated, faceted hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova SLN C1 for low-light legibility, and a date window sits discreetly at 4:30.
Powering the watch is Zenith’s in-house El Primero calibre 3600, an automatic high-frequency chronograph movement with a 60-hour autonomy. Beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), it allows the chronograph hand to complete a full rotation in 10 seconds, measuring elapsed times to 1/10th of a second.
The timepiece is offered on a stainless steel bracelet with brushed and polished links, secured by a double-folding clasp. An additional black rubber strap with a matching clasp is also included.
The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Meteorite (Ref. 03.3120.3600/76.M3100) is priced at approx. INR 18,46,000.
