After the successful 2023 collaboration, TAG Heuer has once again joined hands with Team Ikuzawa and Bamford Watch Department to introduce the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Team Ikuzawa, a limited edition of 150 individually numbered pieces that celebrates Japanese motorsport culture through Team Ikuzawa's contemporary design language and George Bamford's signature aesthetic. The watch draws direct inspiration from the Heuer Roadmaster stopwatch from the 1970s, known for its bold graphics, exceptional legibility, and motorsport functionality.

The project is led by Mai Ikuzawa, Team Principal and Creative Director of Team Ikuzawa, the Japanese racing team founded in 1981. Educated at Central Saint Martins, Ikuzawa has transformed the team into a modern cultural platform through collaborations spanning fashion, art, luxury, and motorsport.

Based on the 39 mm Carrera Glassbox Chronograph, the watch features a fine-brushed and polished stainless steel case with TAG Heuer's bezel-free Glassbox sapphire crystal construction, offering an uninterrupted view of the dial and flange while maintaining the legibility that defined Jack Heuer's original Carrera concept. Additional design details include a polished steel crown with a red lacquered ring and polished round chronograph pushers. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres.

The dial receives a complete Team Ikuzawa makeover with a white Clou de Paris-textured finish, black printed numeral indexes replacing traditional applied markers, and a black flange carrying a white 60-second/minute scale with triangle markers. Red accents appear throughout, including the lacquered hour and minute hands, the central chronograph seconds hand, the TAG Heuer logo, and the angled date display at 6 o'clock, where every numeral is printed in Team Ikuzawa's signature red. The chronograph layout includes a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock with a rhodium-plated hand and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock with a red-lacquered hand. The Team Ikuzawa logo replaces the running seconds display at 6 o'clock, made possible by the manufacture Calibre TH20-10—a configuration inspired by TAG Heuer chronographs of the 1960s and 1970s that reserved dial space for racing teams and sponsors. It offers a power reserve of about 80 hours.

The chronograph comes fitted on TAG Heuer's seven-row stainless steel bracelet with alternating brushed and polished finishes and a double-folding clasp with double safety push-buttons. Two additional straps are included: a perforated white leather racing strap with red stitching and lining inspired by vintage driving gloves, and a white textile strap with red stripes reflecting Team Ikuzawa's historic racing livery.

The sapphire caseback features dedicated Team Ikuzawa and Bamford Watch Department engravings alongside the individual limitation number (XXX/150). Each watch is presented in exclusive toolbox-inspired packaging that also includes both additional straps, a travel pouch, and a set of custom Team Ikuzawa charms designed for keys and personal accessories.
