On April 5th, Swiss speed climber Nicolas Hojac etched his name into alpine history by ascending and descending the gruelling 3,500-meter vertical stretch of three legendary peaks in the Swiss Alps—the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau—in a record-breaking 15 hours and 30 minutes, nearly 10 hours faster than the previous record. On his wrist during the ascent was the Titoni Seascoper 300 Ice Blue DLC.
To commemorate this remarkable feat, Titoni has unveiled a 200-piece limited-edition version of the Seascoper 300 Ice Blue DLC (Ref. 83300 B-BK-R-718). Engineered for extreme alpine conditions, the watch is both a tribute to Hojac’s accomplishment and a celebration of the icy terrains he conquered.
Crafted from ultra-hard black DLC-coated stainless steel, the 42mm case is pressure-resistant to 30 ATM (300 metres) and features a scratch- and shock-resistant ceramic bezel. The ice-blue dial is inspired by the snow-covered faces of the Bernese Alps, while black-framed hands and Super-LumiNova-filled circular indices ensure optimal legibility in low light. A date window at 3 o’clock maintains the symmetry of the indices. The domed sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensures high clarity and glare resistance.
The screw-down caseback features a custom engraving of the Eiger’s North Face, commemorating the key section of Hojac’s record-setting route.
At its core, the timepiece houses the chronometer-certified Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, known for durability and precision. A durable rubber strap completes this high-performance tool watch.
