Omega introduces orange in the new Seamaster Diver 300M collection
Omega introduces orange in the new Seamaster Diver 300M collection

For over 20 years, orange has been a signature accent in Omega’s dive watches, particularly in master collections such as the Seamaster Planet Ocean. The colour enhances underwater visibility and delivers a striking appearance on land. Now, this vibrant hue makes its way to the Seamaster Diver 300M line, with two new no-date models offered on either a brushed steel mesh bracelet (Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.018) or a bold orange rubber strap (Ref. 210.32.42.20.01.006).

Both watches come in a 42mm stainless steel case with a mix of brushed and polished finishes. Retaining the tool-watch DNA of the Diver 300M line, the case is equipped with prominent crown guards and Omega’s signature scalloped unidirectional bezel made of black anodised aluminium. On these new variants, the diving scale markings on the bezel are filled with white Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability. A conical helium escape valve at 10 o’clock and 300-metre water resistance ensure these watches are fully capable dive instruments.

The sandblasted black aluminium dial features orange accents on the central seconds hand, quarter-hour markers, and the “Seamaster” inscription, which stands out just below the white Omega logo. Skeletonised rhodium-plated hands and indexes are filled with Super-LumiNova—glowing blue for the hours and green for the minutes in low light.

Visible through the sapphire caseback is the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806—a METAS-certified movement that offers magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss, a 55-hour power reserve, and reliable performance at a 3.5 Hz frequency.

These new Seamaster Diver 300M models are now part of Omega’s permanent collection, priced at ₹6,37,200 on the rubber strap and ₹6,72,600 on the steel bracelet.

What we think -

Probably the best version yet of the upgraded SMP. The removal of the date window seems quite deliberate to keep these watches slim, but we believe it was an essential part of the SMP lore and could be integrated in a tasteful manner.
