Expanding its iconic integrated sports watch collection, Vacheron Constantin has introduced a new striking colour to its Overseas line. It is the first time in the collection that a titanium case has been combined with a deep red dial. Known for its robustness and lightness, titanium has been a part of the Overseas story since 2009, with milestones including the Everest editions and the fully titanium Overseas Tourbillon Skeleton in 2022. This latest reference with a deep red dial follows a blue-dial titanium tourbillon released in 2024.

The dial features a sunburst satin-brushed base paired with a velvet-finished, lacquered flange, drawing attention to the tourbillon at 6 o’clock, whose cage also serves as a small seconds display, marked by blued screws. Applied 18K white gold hour markers and hour and minute hands are filled with blue Super-LumiNova®.

The Grade 5 titanium case measures 42.5 mm in diameter and just 10.39 mm in thickness, underlining the ultra-thin architecture of the watch. The finishings include vertically satin-brushed case surfaces, polished bracelet link angles, and a bezel inspired by the Maltese cross, featuring a circular satin-brushed finish on a sandblasted ring. A soft iron casing ring provides anti-magnetic protection, while a sapphire crystal caseback reveals the movement. Water resistance is tested to approximately 50 metres.

Powering the watch is the in-house calibre 2160, an ultra-thin automatic movement measuring 5.65 mm in thickness and 31 mm in diameter. The movement is equipped with a peripheral oscillating weight featuring a guilloché 916/1000 gold segment, allowing bidirectional winding while keeping the movement visually unobstructed. The calibre operates at 2.5 Hz (18,000 vph) and offers about 80 hours of power reserve.

The tourbillon construction further contributes to slimness and efficiency, using a peripheral drive that eliminates the need for a central pinion and ensures optimal energy transmission from the barrel to the balance wheel. The movement is finished with circular graining on the mainplate, Côtes de Genève and hand-bevelled edges decorating the bridges, grained wheels, chamfered and polished screws, and a delicately cradled tourbillon shank.

The watch is delivered on an integrated Grade 5 titanium bracelet secured by a triple-blade folding clasp with push-pieces and a comfort-adjustment system offering up to 4 mm of extension. For versatility, two additional rubber straps, one deep red and one white, are included and can be interchanged without tools.
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon, Ref. 6000V/210T-H179, is priced at approx. INR 1,83,00,000 and is available exclusively through the brand’s boutiques.
