Since its relaunch, Favre Leuba has left no stone unturned in creating a diverse catalogue of mechanical watches. Now, for its Deep Raider Day Date collection, the watchmaker has introduced a dual-tone edition combining 316L stainless steel with yellow-gold PVD-treated details. Keeping up with its accessible price range, the brand has not gone for solid gold, but has given a more refined character to its 40 mm daily-wear dive watch. The timepiece is offered in blue, black, or green dials. It retains the line’s 300-metre water resistance and practical day-date functionality.

The model shares its roots with the 1964 Deep Blue dive watch and was revived as the Deep Raider Revival in 2024, followed by the Renaissance collection in 2025, with versions featuring malachite and meteorite stone dials. The range has since expanded with the Power Reserve and Day Date models.
The case has a thickness of 12.5 mm and a lug-to-lug distance of 48.2 mm, and is finished with brushed and polished surfaces. The bezel and crown receive a yellow-gold PVD treatment, while the same finish is applied to the central links of the integrated three-link bracelet. Matching the case and bracelet accents, the unidirectional bezel carries a 60-minute diving scale marked in gold on the ceramic insert. An anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the closed caseback is chemically engraved with Favre Leuba’s hourglass emblem and wave pattern.

The three dial versions have gradient finishes that become darker towards the edges. All three use a two-part sandwich construction, with recessed elongated hour markers backed by Super-LumiNova C1 X1 that glows blue in the dark. The theme extends to the gold-treated hour, minute, and seconds hands, together with Favre Leuba’s hourglass emblem at 6 o’clock. The day-and-date display remains positioned at 3 o’clock.

The watch is powered by the automatic FLD05 calibre, based on the Sellita SW-220-1. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a 38-hour power reserve. The date is adjusted by turning the crown clockwise, while its anticlockwise movement allows the adjustment of the day. The day display can be set to either English or German and retains the selected language as the calendar advances.
The two-tone Favre Leuba Deep Raider Day Date is priced at INR 2,44,000.
