With the last quarter of the year bringing a season of festivals around the world, Breitling has introduced new timepieces in the Navitimer and Superocean Heritage collections, combining stainless steel and 18K yellow gold. Launched for the holiday season, the watches pair the warmth of yellow gold – which holds significant cultural value – with white and mother-of-pearl details, offering a fresh interpretation of two established designs.
Breitling Navitimer Automatic 36
The Navitimer Automatic 36 features a 36 mm stainless-steel case with an 18K yellow-gold bidirectional bezel incorporating the collection’s signature slide rule. Its mother-of-pearl dial is complemented by diamond hour markers and Super-LumiNova-coated hour and minute hands.

The watch measures 11.42 mm thick, with a 41.77 mm lug-to-lug length, and offers water resistance to 30 metres. A cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial, while the closed caseback and non-screw-locked crown with two gaskets complete the construction.
Powering the hour, minute, and seconds functions is the COSC-certified automatic Breitling Calibre 17 bidirectional movement with a ball-bearing rotor. The calibre operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and provides approximately 38 hours of power reserve.

The model is available with either a seven-row two-tone stainless-steel and 18K yellow-gold bracelet (Ref. D173271A1A1P1), priced at INR 10,29,000, or a brown alligator leather strap (Ref. D173271A1A1D1), priced at INR 7,56,000, both fitted with a folding clasp.

Breitling Superocean Heritage Automatic 36
The Superocean Heritage Automatic 36 takes a similarly contrasting approach, combining a 36 mm × 10.42 mm stainless-steel case with a 42.84 mm lug-to-lug length. It is complemented by an 18K yellow-gold unidirectional ratcheted bezel and a white ceramic bezel insert. The white dial is paired with gold hands, hour markers, and bezel markings, while Super-LumiNova provides luminescence.

A cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial. The watch also features a screwed-in steel caseback and a screw-locked crown with two gaskets. The water resistance rating is 200 metres.
Inside is the bidirectional-winding automatic Breitling Calibre 10. The COSC-certified calibre runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve. It drives the hours, minutes, seconds, and date.

The watch is offered with either a white rubber strap (Ref. D10390A71A1S1), priced at INR 6,93,000, or a stainless-steel mesh bracelet (Ref. D10390A71A1A1), priced at INR 7,24,500, both secured by a butterfly clasp.
