Frederique Constant is set to kick off the festive season with a new elegant dress watch, the Classics Moneta Moonphase. Introduced in 2024, the Moneta line takes its design cues from the finely milled edge of a coin, and in this model, the signature coin-edge motif has been relocated from the bezel to the flange, subtly framing the dial.

The timepiece is crafted in stainless steel with polished surfaces and features a versatile 37 mm diameter suited to a wide range of wrists. Beneath an anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal, the blue sunray dial softly plays with the light and is complemented by silvered applied hour markers and polished Dauphine hands. The seconds hand is absent, offering an uninterrupted view of the dial, where a poetic moonphase complication adds to its beauty at 6 o’clock. The moon and stars are rendered in muted grey tones and framed by a delicate gold-coloured ring that mirrors the brand signature at 12.

Enclosed within an engraved caseback, the FC-206 quartz movement drives the timepiece with a 60-month battery life. Furthermore, the watch is water-resistant up to 50 metres.
Rather than adopting a traditional dress-watch character with a leather strap, Frederique Constant has paired this timepiece with a flexible and comfortable steel Milanese mesh bracelet, reinforcing a relaxed 1970s vintage feel.
