Hublot celebrated the 20th anniversary of itsforemost collection, the Big Bang, in 2025, marked by special editions. Thisyear as well, the brand has kept the Big Bang line in the spotlight and hasreleased the newest version of its most renowned watch – the Big Bang Reloaded,alongside more colourful and gem-set versions of the Big Bang and Spirit of BigBang.
Big Bang Reloaded
The new Big Bang Reloaded continues thecollection’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The timepiece is a new, improvedversion of the 44 mm Big Bang Original, retaining the case size. At its core isthe refined Unico calibre HUB 1280, a fully integrated flyback chronographmovement which has been re-engineered since 2018. It now has five patentedinnovations, including a backlash-compensating oscillating clutch, anti-shakingchronograph hand system, zero-friction ratchet wheel blocker, finerate-adjustment mechanism, and improved shock-resistant time-setting. Themovement beats at 4 Hz with a 72-hour power reserve.
The multilayered dial prominently displays themovement, with the column wheel at 6 o’clock and a dual oscillating clutch at 8o’clock. Other updates include the redesigned chronograph counter at 3 o’clock,a repositioned date between 4 and 5 o’clock, and a new chronograph hand design,while the openworked caseback reveals key components like the balance, barrel,and gear train.
The five models in the Big Bang Reloaded lineare made with Titanium Ceramic, All Black Ceramic, Blue Ceramic, Dark GreenCeramic, or Magic Gold (a scratch-resistant 18K alloy developed with EPFL). Thecase is completed with a two-part bezel and functional chronograph pushers withcoloured accents, and paired with interchangeable rubber-fabric straps viaHublot’s One Click system.
Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé and UsainBolt editions
The Big Bang Reloaded also arrives in twospecial editions, honouring two pioneering sportsmen – Kylian Mbappé and UsainBolt – designed and created in collaboration with the men themselves, and bothlimited to 200 pieces each.
The Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé comes inthe same 44 mm case, crafted in white ceramic and 18K King Gold with askeletonised dial. The watch includes the engraved message “Trust Yourself” andMbappé’s number 10 in gold.
The Big Bang Reloaded Usain Bolt uses a blackceramic and carbon case with an 18K yellow gold bezel engraved with his mantra“Anything is Possible, Don’t Think Limits”. A key detail is the “6-5-8” markingon the dial; flip it, and you find his 9.58-second world record. The watch alsofeatures a lightning bolt-shaped chronograph hand and even includes soil fromhis childhood training ground in the caseback.
Both watches are powered by the same HUB 1280calibre and come with two interchangeable straps – King Gold-coloured fabricwith Velcro and black and white rubber.
Big Bang Impact One Million
The novelties include the high jewellery BigBang Impact One Million, set with 500 distinctly cut Top Wesselton diamonds ofVVS or VS clarity, ethically sourced, and weighing about 44.6 carats. 323baguette-cut diamonds sparkle on the case and caseback, 72 on the bezel, and 75fancy-cut diamonds on the dial. These diamonds are arranged around a centralflying tourbillon in the signature impact motif, symbolising the attraction ofenergy. Housed in a 45 mm polished white gold case, powering the watch is the manual-windHUB9015 calibre with about a 120-hour reserve and 3 Hz frequency. Completingthe timepiece is a black rubber and alligator strap.
Spirit of Big Bang Impact
With the Spirit of Big Bang Impact, Hublot hasachieved a world-first by setting diamonds directly into sapphire, which, givenits hardness, is extremely difficult. The collection is presented with threelimited-edition models – an all-black ceramic, sapphire with osmium, and fulldiamond-set sapphire – with a fragmented motif, much like shattered glass whoseshards scatter from the dial onto the bezel. The watches measure 42 mm and arepowered by the automatic HUB1770 movement with a moonphase and big date. Pairedwith these are white or black-lined rubber straps.
Big Bang Joyful Steel Purple
Bringing a splash of vibrant colour, Hublothas also unveiled the Big Bang Joyful Steel Purple, in a compact 33 mm casewith a bezel set with 36 amethysts and a white dial with a date display. Thetimepiece offers another colour option in the line that previously included skyblue, apple green, pink, and orange variations. Inside is the HUB1120 automaticmovement with a 40-hour power reserve. The timepiece comes with two straps – amatching purple rubber and a white rubber strap.
Warranty and Hublotista Programme
Alongside the novelties, Hublot has alsointroduced a new 5+5 warranty programme. This includes a standard five-yearwarranty plus an additional five years if the watch is registered through theHublotista programme. To further strengthen its connection with customers, theHublotista community also gives access to exclusive events and early productreleases.
