H. Moser & Cie. embraces summer with the new vibrant colour palette of its Pioneer collection. The brand has presented a trilogy of Pioneer Spiced Aqua models in shades of turquoise and orange—there’s the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Spiced Aqua, Pioneer Tourbillon Spiced Aqua, and Pioneer Centre Seconds Spiced Aqua. All three timepieces are crafted in stainless steel with a water resistance of up to 12 atm (approx. 120 metres), and all are powered by the brand’s in-house movements.

Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Spiced Aqua (Ref. 3811-1203)

The Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Spiced Aqua comes in a 42.8 mm stainless steel case topped with a slightly domed sapphire crystal. The captivating skeletonised dial includes an orange fumé domed sub-dial with a sunburst finish, transparent lacquer logo, turquoise Globolight® indices, and skeletonised hands with turquoise inserts. The case is completed with a screw-in crown and a see-through caseback. It comes flanked with a turquoise rubber strap with a steel pin buckle engraved with the Moser logo.

Visible three-dimensionally, the fully skeletonised HMC 811 automatic movement beats at a 3 Hz frequency and offers about 74 hours of power reserve. The movement, finished with diamond bevelling and anthracite PVD coating, includes a cylindrical hairspring with two Breguet overcoils, a one-minute flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock with a hand-bevelled bridge, and a skeletonised gold rotor.

Pioneer Tourbillon Spiced Aqua (Ref. 3805-1200)

Next in line, the Pioneer Tourbillon Spiced Aqua is offered in a 40 mm stainless steel case with a domed sapphire crystal and see-through caseback. The dial here is also orange fumé, devoid of the logo and finished with a sunburst pattern, and complemented by a turquoise inner flange. The leaf-shaped hour and minute hands are both filled with turquoise Super-LumiNova®. The highlight of the piece is the one-minute flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock.

The watch is driven by the HMC 805 automatic calibre, which operates at a 3 Hz frequency and delivers a 3-day power reserve. The movement includes a skeletonised 18K red gold rotor, a bi-directional pawl winding system, and an original double hairspring. It is beautified with partially skeletonised bridges and an anthracite finish with Moser double stripes.

The timepiece comes on a turquoise rubber strap with a steel pin buckle engraved with the brand logo.

Pioneer Centre Seconds Spiced Aqua (Ref. 3201-1202)

The last, Pioneer Centre Seconds Spiced Aqua, is 42.8 mm, also with a domed sapphire crystal and a see-through caseback. The model is paired with a white rubber strap. An alternative version, Ref. 3201-1205, comes with a black DLC-coated steel case and an orange rubber strap.

The dial is a vibrant turquoise fumé with a sunburst pattern, accented by an orange inner flange filled with Super-LumiNova®. Leaf-shaped hour and minute hands are filled with orange Super-LumiNova® as well, offering strong legibility.

Inside, the HMC 201 automatic calibre powers the watch, also beating at 3 Hz and offering a 3-day autonomy. The movement features a bi-directional pawl winding system, engraved oscillating weight, original Straumann® hairspring, and hacking seconds. It is finished with anthracite coating and Moser double stripes on partially skeletonised bridges.
