Alongside the many watch brands that share a rich heritage with motorsport, Chopard is continuing its long-running celebration of motorsport with the introduction of the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio-Blu – 2026 Racing Edition. This limited edition series of 250 pieces is the latest addition to the brand’s Mille Miglia collection and pays tribute to the legendary Italian road race that Chopard has sponsored and timed since 1988.

Beyond the watch itself, the model serves as a new chapter in Chopard’s decades-long relationship with the Mille Miglia. Since the partnership began in 1988, the collection has grown into one of the brand’s most recognisable pillars, with annual race editions and numerous tributes to iconic drivers, historic racing colours, famous stages, and legendary automotive figures like Jacky Ickx (a six-time Le Mans winner) and Sir Stirling Moss (renowned for his legendary 1955 victory). The maison’s involvement with the event is further underscored by its Co-President, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, who has personally participated in the Mille Miglia motor race every year since 1989.

Embodying the endurance, performance, and competitive spirit of one of the world’s most celebrated road races, the new Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio-Blu – 2026 Racing Edition projects a purposeful and robust character. Housed in a 43 mm case crafted from Chopard’s proprietary Lucent Steel™, the case combines strength with wearability thanks to its ergonomic proportions and short lugs, while a screw-down crown engraved with a steering-wheel motif reinforces the watch’s connection to the world of classic racing. With a water resistance of 100 metres, the timepiece is designed for everyday wearability.

The watch’s defining feature is its distinctive Grigio-Blu dial, whose textured blue-grey surface draws inspiration from the asphalt roads and instrument panels of historic racing cars. Crafted from brass with a finely grained finish, the dial recalls the asphalt of race roads and is paired with large typography for enhanced readability. The power-reserve display between 8 and 10 o’clock is designed to resemble a fuel gauge. Broad faceted hands and applied metallic indexes are coated with black Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility in all lighting conditions. A date display at 3 o’clock integrates neatly into the layout, while red accents add another racing-inspired aesthetic.

Visible through the sapphire caseback, the watch is powered by the in-house automatic COSC-certified Chopard calibre 01.08-C. The movement operates at 4 Hz and delivers a 60-hour power reserve. It also features a stop-seconds mechanism, allowing precise time-setting down to the exact second.
It is fitted with a technical black textile strap backed by a rubber lining featuring a discreet tyre-tread pattern, a signature detail of the Mille Miglia collection. It is secured by a Lucent Steel folding clasp.
