Breitling has been named Official Watch Partner of Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, marking the start of a global, multi-year partnership that links the Swiss watchmaker with Aston Martin’s road cars and its Formula 1® programme. The collaboration begins with the launch of the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, signalling Breitling’s return to Formula 1®.

The two share a long-standing record of speed, engineering, and performance. Breitling’s history in precision timing dates back to 1907, when Léon Breitling introduced the Vitesse chronograph capable of measuring speeds up to 250 miles or kilometres per hour. Aston Martin’s origins trace to early motorsport success in England, later expanding into Formula 1® with its first entry in 1959. Over the decades, both brands have shared cultural and technical connections, including the Breitling Navitimer’s role as a cockpit instrument and Aston Martin’s status as a performance icon.

Their first co-branded watch, the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, is limited to 1,959 pieces, referencing Aston Martin’s debut year in Formula 1®. It is the first Navitimer to feature a titanium case, measuring 43 mm in diameter and 13.69 mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug length of 49.07 mm. The case is water-resistant to 30 metres and fitted with a cambered sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides, along with a screwed sapphire caseback.

Design elements draw directly from Formula 1® and Aston Martin racing. The carbon-fibre dial is accented with Aston Martin Racing Green and lime details taken from the team’s livery. Hour markers and hands are coated with green Super-LumiNova® for enhanced legibility. The polished titanium bezel frames the dial, while the embossed leather strap is inspired by racing harnesses.

Powering the watch is the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B01, a COSC-certified automatic movement featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch. It drives chronograph functions with 1/4-second precision, 30-minute and 12-hour counters, along with hours, minutes, seconds, and a date display. The movement provides an approximate power reserve of 70 hours.

Through the sapphire caseback, the matte-black tungsten rotor - coated with high-durability PVD - is visible and engraved with the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team logo. Additional engravings include “One of 1959” and Breitling’s signature phrase, “Instruments for Drivers.”
The partnership will extend beyond the watch launch into the Formula 1® season. The Breitling logo will appear on the Aston Martin Aramco car and team apparel when the AMR26 is unveiled on 9 February 2026. The collaboration will make its on-track debut at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne from 6 to 8 March 2026. Further co-branded releases are planned throughout the duration of the partnership.
