Giro d’Italia 2025 is just around the corner, kicking off on May 9th. In celebration of the event, Tudor has returned to the world of elite cycling with a bold new release - the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Pink”, a limited edition of just 300 pieces. Inspired by the iconic Maglia Rosa - the pink jersey awarded to the race winner - this new timepiece builds upon the technical foundation of the original Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition, launched last year, and now features vibrant pink accents.

The 43 mm watch is crafted from matte black carbon composite, ensuring both lightweight comfort and durability - essential traits for professional cyclists. The fixed lug architecture, derived from the Pelagos FXD’s military-diving heritage, offers extra robustness while maintaining a streamlined, integrated profile on the wrist. The case is complemented by a titanium screw-down crown engraved with Tudor’s shield and titanium direct-action pushers - practical details tailored for use on the move.

Under a flat sapphire crystal lies a matte black dial accented with pink highlights across the chronograph sub-dials and a tachymeter scale on the inner flange. The spiral layout of the scale allows riders to quickly calculate average speeds. Tudor’s signature snowflake hands and square indices are made from luminescent ceramic composite, enhancing legibility in low-light conditions. A solid caseback bears commemorative engravings and the limited-edition number.

Powering the watch is the automatic calibre MT5813, a COSC-certified chronograph movement based on the Breitling B01 and modified by Tudor. It features a silicon balance spring, a variable inertia balance, a column-wheel, and a vertical clutch - making it a precise, high-performance engine. It operates at 4 Hz and offers a 70-hour power reserve.

Water-resistant to 100 metres, the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Pink” is fitted with a one-piece black fabric strap featuring a bold pink centre stripe - a nod to the cycling event that inspired it.
