Seiko has announced a new collaboration that officially introduces the “Pepsi” name to the world of watches. The Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi collection offers two limited-edition models, the SSK047 and SRPL99, each limited to 7,000 pieces and styled in the soda brand’s signature red and blue. While watch enthusiasts have long used the “Pepsi” nickname for models with a red-and-blue bezel—most famously the Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126710BLRO—this is the first time an official partnership has been established by a watch brand with PepsiCo.
The SSK047 is based on Seiko’s GMT series launched in 2022. It features a 42.5 mm stainless steel case with black hard coating and a bidirectional 24-hour bezel made of transparent Hardlex with the red and blue scale printed underneath. Inspired by the modern Pepsi can design, the black dial carries large luminous markers outlined in blue, a red GMT hand, and the current Pepsi logo at 6 o’clock. The timepiece is powered by the automatic calibre 4R34 with a GMT function, visible via a see-through caseback printed with the Pepsi logo. Water-resistant up to 100 metres, the watch comes on a Pepsi-branded silicone strap.
The SRPL99 takes cues from the more compact 38 mm SKX line introduced in 2023. The timepiece maintains a vintage look with its uncoated stainless steel case measuring 38 mm x 44.2 mm, topped with a unidirectional red-and-blue metallic bezel insert. The silvery-white dial reflects Pepsi’s 1990s branding, with blue-outlined luminous markers and hands, and the vintage Pepsi logo at 6 o’clock. The transparent caseback also carries the logo. This model is powered by Seiko’s automatic calibre 4R36, which includes a day-date function, and is flanked by a brushed 3-link steel bracelet with a three-fold clasp. It also offers 100 metres of water resistance.
Both timepieces come in special Pepsi-can-shaped packaging. The Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi SSK047 is priced at approx. INR 55,000 and the SRPL99 at approx. INR 40,000.
