Perrelet introduces a malachite dial to Weekend collection

Perrelet has expanded its Weekend collection with a new stone dial. The Perrelet Malachite stuns with the natural green hues of the hard stone featured in the brand's 39 mm dress watch collection. After its debut in 2017 with time-only, date, GMT, and open-heart versions, the collection incorporated its first hard-stone dial in 2025 with the Weekend Aventurine.

The 39 mm x 9.56 mm Weekend Malachite (Ref. A1300/K) is crafted from stainless steel with alternating polished and satin-brushed finishes. A grooved crown bears the brand's logo. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal tops the case, while a mineral glass caseback reveals the movement.

The highlight of the timepiece, the malachite dial, is composed of basic copper carbonate and is recognised for its layered green tones and distinctive veining, making every timepiece unique. Completing it are rhodium-plated baton indices, doubled at 12 and 6 o’clock, and dauphine hour and minute hands. A date aperture at 3 o’clock is framed by a three-dimensional silver profile and displays black Arabic numerals on a white background.

The hour, minute, seconds, and date functions are driven by the in-house automatic calibre P-321, produced by SOPROD within the Festina Group. The movement operates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve on a full wind. Its oscillating weight, mounted on ball bearings for smooth rotation and efficient energy transmission, is open-worked and decorated with a sunray motif and the Perrelet logo, while the bridges are finished with circular graining.

The case is paired with a seven-link stainless steel bracelet with alternating finishes and a folding clasp, and includes an additional green calf leather strap embossed with an alligator pattern, equipped with a personalised steel pin buckle and quick-release system for easy interchangeability. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.

The Perrelet Weekend Malachite is priced at approx. INR 1,65,000 and can be purchased through authorised retailers worldwide and via the brand’s official e-commerce platform in Europe and the United States.
