For Geneva Watch Days 2026, Konstantin Chaykin has unveiled the second chapter in its East collection of Wristmons; the “Wolf” follows the Panda Titanium introduced at the 2025 edition of the fair. The idea for the collection dates back to 2018, when Chaykin began sketching animals and birds inspired by Eastern cultures. The series will eventually conclude with the “Tiger” in 2029, which will feature a manufacture calibre and be reserved for collectors who have acquired the four preceding Wristmons. The “Wolf” will be produced in an unlimited edition.

The “Wolf” imbibes the iconic Wristmon face, where the time display is turned into a changing facial expression. Its large round eyes feature vivid irises created using high-precision pad printing, with multiple layers applied in precise alignment. The upper lugs, shaped like elongated, pointed wolf ears, become part of the character’s overall design.

The dial features several decorative techniques to create the appearance of fur and facial depth. Wavy guilloché relief across the forehead and lower dial shows the direction of the wolf’s coat, while dark geometric relief along the nose bridge emphasises the elongated shape of the head. Raised, sandblasted brow ridges, white fangs, and a dark red mouth add more character, while matte surfaces contrast with the smooth convex nose and polished applied elements. The bezel receives fine radial brushing instead of the letter inserts or recesses found on the Panda.

The most distinctive feature is the moonphase display. Instead of showing the complete lunar cycle, the “Wolf” indicates only the full-moon period, which lasts roughly two to three days. The red disk appears inside the wolf’s permanently open mouth, resembling a tongue. It begins to emerge on the day before the full moon, remains visible throughout the full moon and the following day, then jumps back to its starting position and disappears. The watch displays hours and minutes through the signature Joker configuration, with the hour disk positioned at 10 o’clock and the minute disk at 2 o’clock, alongside the full-moon period indicator which is is adjusted through the crown.

The concept required a redesign of the signature Joker indication module. The watch is powered by the automatic K.18-28 calibre, developed for the Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture and based on the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G200. The movement uses a 111-part Joker indication module produced by the Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture. Its Swiss La Joux-Perret G200 base movement uses a lever escapement and 36 jewels. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), has an accuracy of –10/+10 seconds per day, and provides approximately 68 hours of power reserve.

The stainless-steel case measures 40 mm in diameter, while the caseback features a sapphire window secured by six screws. Both the front and back are covered with anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres. Completing it is an exclusive high-quality leather strap and a classic stainless-steel buckle produced by the Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture.
