Continuing its steady comeback, Gérald Genta’s namesake brand has introduced a new time-only watch at LVMH Watch Week 2026 - the Geneva Time Only features a cushion-shaped case, which was introduced last year. The brand returned in 2023 with the legendary watchmaker’s archival designs brought to life in the bold Oursin watch in 2024, which bagged the Ladies’ Watch Prize at the 2025 GPHG. In 2025, the brand presented a complex minute repeater in a cushion-shaped case. Now, that same case has returned in a much simpler version that displays only the hours and minutes.

The collection is offered in two 18K gold executions, both featuring a grainy, fumé texture that fades from a light centre to a darker perimeter. The rose gold model (Ref. ECFD01A1) offers a warm “Marrone” brass-toned dial, while the white gold edition (Ref. ECFF01A1) carries a “Grafite” silver-grey face.

Drawing inspiration from Genta’s archives, the timepiece has been created by La Fabrique du Temps. With soft, rounded corners, the cushion-shaped case measures 38 mm and is 8.15 mm thick. A double-stepped bezel complements the case, giving it a soft, rounded appeal. This layering adds visual depth that softens the watch’s geometry, ensuring the square profile feels elegant and integrated rather than bulky. This harmony extends to the dial, where a clever “railroad” minute track follows the square contour of the case, while the inner border remains a perfect circle.

Beating inside is the GG-005P automatic movement, a calibre sourced from sister brand Zenith. Visible through the sapphire caseback and featuring a custom Gérald Genta rotor, the movement operates at a frequency of 4 Hz with a 50-hour power reserve, driving the hours and minutes.

A tapered calfskin strap attached to short lugs flanks the case. The Gérald Genta Geneva Time Only is priced at approximately INR 29,55,000.
