Frederique Constant has unveiled the latest edition of its celebrated Classics Heart Beat Moonphase Date, first launched eight years ago. The new model is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case.
The standout feature is its elegant deep blue dial, punctuated by the signature ‘heart-beat’ aperture at 12 o’clock, offering a view of the balance wheel in motion—a hallmark of the collection introduced nearly three decades ago. On its opposite at 6 o’clock is the moon phase complication
The central portion of the dial is decorated with a refined “Clou de Paris” guilloché pattern and features four hands: Breguet-style hour and minute hands, a slender central seconds hand, and a fourth hand with an arrowhead tip to indicate the date via a peripheral scale on the flange.
Visible through a sapphire crystal caseback, the watch is powered by the automatic FC-335 movement. Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz, it provides a 38-hour power reserve. All functions—including winding, time-setting, date, and moon phase—are adjusted through a single crown. For best mechanical preservation, the moon phase is recommended to be set when the time is positioned at 10:10.
Completing the look is a deep blue leather strap with white topstitching, fastened by a traditional stainless steel pin buckle.

A crowd favorite returns with another winner. We only wish the brand focused a little more on different case designs as well, since they are already the masters of new calibres. That would be a stellar combination.
