Reviving a style era defined by bold expression and flair, Frederique Constant reintroduces its retro-futuristic cuff watch with the 2025 debut of the Classics Manchette. Inspired by the glam rock spirit of the 1980s and first launched in the mid-2000s, the Manchette line is back—this time in four elegantly updated executions.
Each new Classics Manchette features a square dial nestled within a seven-link flexible bracelet, embossed with the Clou de Paris pattern—a classic motif of small pyramid-like studs that shimmer under the light. This textured geometry repeats seamlessly across the entire cuff and through the square dial.
The variations lie in the dial—one dazzles with 158 brilliant-cut diamonds (Ref. FC-200PVD1MC6B), the second iteration features a green malachite dial (Ref. FC-200MA1MC6B), the third comes with a deep black onyx dial (Ref. FC-200ONB1MC6B), and the fourth flaunts a matte white dial with black Roman numerals (Ref. FC-200WR1MC6B). All dials are completed with a pair of polished stick hands.
All versions are crafted in stainless steel, measuring 25.7 mm and a thickness of 6.45 mm. Each cuff is equipped with an integrated invisible deployment clasp, ensuring a seamless look and secure fit. The watches are water-resistant up to 30 metres.
Powering the new Classics Manchette collection is Frederique Constant’s FC-200 quartz movement, offering 60 months of battery life.
The white dial model is marked at INR 1,20,000 (approx.), green malachite and onyx dial versions are priced at INR 1,80,000 (approx.), and the diamond-set model comes at INR 4,05,000 (approx.)
What we think -
A fan favorite brand of the Indian Watch Community now offers more watches for women, a wonderful addition to their catalog which was starting to look a bit skewed. What’s more, in-house capabilities to the brim!
