Franck Muller expands its Gravity™ collection with two new skeletonised models featuring a dramatic tourbillon structure, measuring 21.2 mm in diameter, and revealing the movement in full view.
Housed in the brand’s signature Vanguard case measuring 44 mm wide, 53.7 mm long, and 15.1 mm thick, the Gravity™ models are protected by sapphire crystals. The case is crafted in stainless steel studded with brilliant-cut diamonds (on the case, dial, and buckle) or Grade-2 titanium with black PVD treatment (a more skeletonised model), both featuring inserts on the flanks and a blend of brushed and polished finishes. The watches are water-resistant up to 30 metres.
The dial displays the openworked movement in the skeletonised version. The diamond-set version features hand-painted appliqué numerals. Both models feature off-centred hours and minutes and hand-polished rhodium-plated surfaces to highlight the mechanical depth of the watch.
The timepieces are powered by Franck Muller’s in-house manually wound movement. The diamond-set version is driven by MVT FM CS-03, and the titanium model runs with MVT FM CS-03-SQ. Both movements offer the timepieces a robust 5-day power reserve and run at 3 Hz frequency, and are equipped with a dual-position crown for manual winding and time setting. The calibres are decorated with bead-blasted mainplates and tourbillon cages, satin-brushed bridges and steel parts, and circular satin brushing on the wheels and barrel drums.
Completing the new Franck Muller Gravity™ timepieces are alligator straps, secured by either a brushed stainless steel or black PVD-coated folding buckle.
