Breguet has left no stone unturned to awe watch lovers with the creations of its 250th anniversary celebrations, which have revisited and honoured its historic pieces and founder Abraham-Louis Breguet. The brand has once again brought back one of its renowned timepieces, releasing a series of new models within its Tradition collection, first launched in 2005. The latest timepieces – Tradition 7037, 7038, 7097, and 7067 – carry forward the concept of displaying movement architecture on the dial side, while incorporating updated materials, finishes, and design elements.
The Tradition collection draws heavily on the work of Abraham-Louis Breguet, particularly his late 18th-century designs such as the Tact and Souscription watches. Its signature design element is the inversion of the calibre, which places typically hidden mechanical components on the front of the watch.

The Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7037 introduces a simplified display with hours, minutes, and a retrograde seconds hand positioned at 10 o’clock. The watch features a 38 mm 18K white gold case and, for the first time in this model, a fully blue movement with a shot-blasted mainplate, satin-brushed bridges, and a snailed barrel cover. The offset dial at 12 o’clock is crafted in white Grand Feu enamel and now uses Arabic numerals instead of Roman. The self-winding calibre 505 SR operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), offering a 50-hour power reserve and incorporating a silicon balance spring and a platinum oscillating weight. It comes flanked by an interchangeable blue rubber strap with light grey stitching. The other variation of this model features a 950 platinum case with black aesthetics – black movement and black Grand Feu enamel dial with a matching strap.
The Tradition GMT 7067 brings the dual-time complication within a 40 mm 950 platinum case and grey-black colour scheme. The main dial – green-gradient Grand Feu enamel – displays local time, while a subdial at 8 o’clock indicates home time, complemented by a day/night indicator at 10 o’clock. The model also offers two versions of the home time display, using either Arabic or Oriental numerals, referencing historical customisations made by Breguet for clients in the Ottoman Empire. The manually wound calibre 507DRF, with a 50-hour power reserve, drives the watch. A black interchangeable rubber strap with green top stitching completes the timepiece.

The 37 mm rhodium-plated white gold case is set with 58 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, and the crown is adorned with a watch jewel. The main dial is made of black aventurine glass, a first for the Tradition line, paired with a deep black finish. Calibre 505SR drives the watch and is finished with a sunburst guilloché barrel cover and a matching oscillating weight. A black satin-finish fabric strap flanks the case.
