Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms Tech, the brand’s most advanced professional diver’s watch, has made a confident return in 2025. The new Fifty Fathoms Tech 45 mm arrives with fresh updates that combine rugged underwater capability with lifestyle versatility. Now part of the brand’s permanent collection, the model introduces a new interchangeable strap system and is offered with bold rubber strap colour options.
Built on the foundation of the Fifty Fathoms Tech Ocean Commitment IV, this modern deep-sea diving tool watch incorporates all the robust features of its predecessor in a more compact format. The 45 mm case is crafted from durable and lightweight Grade 23 titanium. It features a unidirectional 120-click ceramic bezel, designed for optimal grip even with gloved hands, and a helium escape valve—making it suitable for saturation diving and other extreme underwater environments. The watch is water-resistant to 300 metres.
The absolute black dial absorbs up to 97% of ambient light, optimising legibility in dark or low-light conditions. Luminescent block-shaped hour markers and hands, along with a bright orange central seconds hand and matching TECH dial text, ensure high visibility.
Visible through the sapphire caseback, the watch is powered by the automatic Blancpain Manufacture calibre 1315A, offering an impressive 120-hour (5-day) power reserve and operating at a 4 Hz frequency.
A key innovation in this edition is the tool-free interchangeable strap system, which allows quick and easy strap changes without the need for tools. The watch is delivered with two integrated rubber straps, available in three colour options: classic black, crisp white, and vibrant orange. Multiple strap sizes accommodate wear over wetsuits or directly on the wrist.
The Fifty Fathoms Tech (Ref. 5029 12B30 94A) is priced at approximately INR 20,65,000.
