Armin Strom has introduced its newest creation—the Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire Rose Gold, an opulent model in the collection with a warmer appeal.
The 41 mm x 12.65 mm watch is crafted from 18K rose gold with alternating brushed and polished surfaces. Both front and back are protected by sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coatings, offering an uninterrupted view of the movement and dial.
Rendered in offset grey-toned sapphire, the time display includes a small seconds subdial and is accompanied by rhodium-plated pink gold hands filled with Super-LumiNova for readability in low-light conditions.
Beneath the transparent dial lies a brown PVD-treated mainplate, hand-decorated with a “grain d’orge” guilloché pattern crafted by Kari Voutilainen. The composition frames the exposed gear train and barrel, reinforcing the watch’s openworked aesthetic. A discreet power reserve indicator is tucked neatly between 4 and 5 o’clock.
Powering the timepiece is Armin Strom’s in-house automatic Calibre ASB19, equipped with a micro-rotor and patented stop-work declutch mechanism. This system regulates torque from the mainspring, maintaining constant force across the entire power reserve. The movement operates at a frequency of 3.5 Hz and offers a 72-hour power reserve.
As with all Armin Strom movements, the ASB19 is hand-finished with decorative techniques such as Geneva stripes, perlage, polished bevels, circular brushing, and black-polished screws.
The Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire Rose Gold is presented on a matte brown nubuck leather strap with beige stitching and secured with a matching rose gold pin buckle.
This special edition is limited to just 20 pieces per year and is priced at approx. INR 40,00,000.
