Doxa has announced a partnership with Fins Attached, a nonprofit organisation that works to conserve sharks and protect ocean ecosystems. For the collaboration, the brand has created and donated a unique SUB 300T Sharksaver Fins Attached watch, whose proceeds will help the organisation with its research, conservation, education, and advocacy work to protect sharks and their habitats. The auction took place on 10 October during the Saving Our Seas from a Mile High Gala event, where guests placed their bids on the one-of-a-kind collector’s piece. The results of the auction have not been publicly released yet.

Founded in 1889 in Le Locle, Switzerland, by Georges Ducommun, Doxa has come a long way and is well known for its professional dive watches. The SUB 300 was introduced in 1967 in collaboration with ocean explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, bringing a professional-grade dive watch to life that became popular for its patented rotating bezel and underwater readability. The latest collaboration continues the long-term connection with the ocean, but this time, it is about sharks and their habitats.

The model features a stainless-steel case measuring 42.50 mm × 44.50 mm × 13.65 mm and has a lug width of 20 mm. It is protected by a flat sapphire crystal and has a unidirectional rotating bezel that calculates and monitors no-decompression dive times. A screw-down crown keeps the model water-resistant up to 1,200 metres, while a helium release valve manages deep-sea diving. The screw-down caseback is engraved with an inscription commemorating the special partnership.

The lacquered black dial has the SUB 300T design, with white and orange printing, and features hour, minute, and seconds hands, along with a date aperture at 3 o’clock. The dial features the brand’s logo positioned near 10 o’clock and the model name marked near 4 o’clock. The orange minute hand provides legibility underwater. The hour markers and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, which provides complete visibility for divers, while the sapphire crystal protecting the dial has an anti-reflective coating.

The watch is powered by a mechanical, self-winding Swiss movement that is specially decorated for Doxa. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement has 25 jewels and provides hour, minute, second, and date functions.
The model is paired with Doxa’s stainless-steel ‘Beads of Rice’ bracelet, which has a lug width of 20 mm and features closely arranged rounded links. The bracelet is secured with a folding clasp and has a wetsuit extension with adjustments to allow for a perfect fit over a diving suit.
The Doxa SUB 300T Sharksaver Fins Attached (Ref. 840.10.101.10) features the engravings “1 of 1”, the date of the gala dinner, October 10, 2026, and “FINS ATTACHED SAVING OUR SEAS FROM A MILE HIGH GALA”.
