On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Integral, Rado has presented a new limited-edition timepiece that revisits the collection’s groundbreaking use of high-tech ceramic. Introduced in 1986, the Integral became the first collection to feature the brand’s high-tech ceramic. It had a distinctive design with lightness, durability, and a smooth, silky touch, with exceptional scratch resistance. The 40th anniversary edition is limited to 1,986 pieces, referencing the year of the original launch, and features the collection’s first gold-coloured dial.

This yellow gold-coloured vertically brushed dial is contrasted by five black colour-treated VSSI baguette diamonds marking the cardinal hours and minimalist black hour and minute hands, while the black Jubilé logo sits above the date window at 6 o’clock. The date aperture is framed in tone-on-tone gold with slim black numerals. The time and date functions are powered by Rado’s R279 PreciDrive quartz movement with 8 jewels.
Its slender case, measuring 28 mm x 39.8 mm x 7.3 mm, is made from polished yellow gold PVD-coated stainless steel and features a matching crown with an embossed and laser-enhanced Rado anchor logo. It is capped by a curved sapphire crystal which is bevelled, metallised and glued, with anti-reflective coating on the inside, while its edge-to-edge curved construction follows the contours of the wrist. The stainless-steel caseback combines polished and brushed finishes and carries the special engraving “LIMITED EDITION, XXXX/1986”, along with individual numbering. The watch is water-resistant to 50 metres.

The bracelet combines the same polished yellow gold PVD-coated stainless steel with polished black high-tech ceramic middle links and a polished stainless-steel three-fold clasp. The ceramic links continue the material that has defined the Integral since 1986, offering durability and wearing comfort while retaining their appearance over time.
